... are treated and coloured wooden components. While in themselves they remain fragments, in constellation with other fragments they form a network and, hypothetically, expand and grow further.
The network emphasizes the artist's investigation into the human connection through links and relationships, warmth and exchati^e. Another reference, very much up-to-date as well, is related to a different, technological kind of network that within just a few years enabled millions of people to connect with each other exchanging all sorts of messages, finding information, working and playing: the Internet.
Let's fake a closer look at one of the works.- "Gabbia" ("Cage"). Similar to a cocoon, this construction in a semi-dome shape has an architectural touch and is a metaphor for protection and cage at the same time. It is a reflection about relativity and complexity of every day concepts, about the need for love and gentleness, though it does not pretend to ignore the dark side of the moon. Thé red nucleus in the very center of the work becomes a dynamic and coagulating element, an optimistic seed inside what can be considered as a cage as well as a nest.
